Christopher Columbus was an unfeeling, egotistical, hallucinating man who doesn't have the right to be lauded for the revelation of America. Initially, Columbus was a remorseless man who subjugated, assaulted, and killed the locals of the nations he cruised to. As indicated by an article by John Margolis entitled Goodbye Columbus, Columbus supervised the killings of certain (Indians) and requested the subjugation of others. Margolis proceeds to state that Columbus didn't forestall his crew members from assaulting the guiltless locals, and even that he himself assaulted an Indian ladies in the wake of beating her with a bit of rope.
